About Second Cape May Baptist Church
Welcome to Second Cape May Baptist Church, a Bible-centered Baptist church in the Marmora/Palermo area of Cape May County, New Jersey. Our desire is simple and joyful: to know Jesus as Lord and make Him known. Whether you are new to church, returning after time away, visiting the shore, or looking for a church family, we would be glad to welcome you.
Who We Are
Second Cape May Baptist Church is a fellowship of believers committed to worshiping God, teaching the Scriptures, praying together, and serving our local community with the hope of the gospel. We believe church should be a place where people can believe, belong, and become—growing together as disciples of Jesus Christ.
What to Expect
Our Sunday morning worship service begins at 10:00 AM and lasts about an hour. You can expect a casual and friendly atmosphere, congregational worship, prayer, and Bible teaching. Children’s Church and nursery care are available, and kids are dismissed after the worship portion of the service.
If you arrive early on Sunday, we invite you to stop by the welcome desk, receive a small gift, and grab a cup of coffee before the service. Come as you are—our congregation includes people dressed in everything from casual shore-town attire to more traditional Sunday clothing.
Service Times
- Sunday Pre-Worship Prayer: 9:30 AM in the rear building/Fellowship Hall
- Sunday Morning Worship: 10:00 AM in the Fellowship Hall
- Tuesday Night Prayer Meeting: 7:00 PM in the chapel
- Small group Bible study and prayer: Wednesday evenings at 7:00 PM, if currently scheduled
Our Location
We are located at 600 US Route 9 South in Palermo/Marmora, New Jersey, near the corner of Route 9 and Church Road. Main parking is available to the left and right as you enter from US Route 9, with limited additional parking near the trees between the church and parsonage.
